Schuler in basketball fever

Schuler in basketball fever

This week was the "kinder+sport basketball academy guest at the elementary and middle school schlusselfeld and inspired, as in the years before, children for the sport of basketball. The training day was organized on the rough basketball course by brose bamberg. Since 2013, basketball league team brose bamberg has been part of the "kinder+sport basketball academy" and therefore regularly on the road with the rough basketball course in bamberg and the region.

This year, too, the children had to prove themselves at the five stations and get their own basketball jersey for passing the exercises. There are six of them at the academy – analogous to the six levels of difficulty – which, with their different colors, make all the children's eyes sparkle. Sebastian bohnlein, project manager of the academy for bamberg: "the kids in schlusselfeld really liked the "kinder+sport basketball academy" two years ago found and since then are really motivated to get all the jerseys. Depending on the level of difficulty – we call it level – the exercises become more difficult and it is great to see that the kids are preparing for the test day and want to deliver on all exercises."

The xxl-ralf is history

Ralf kroack is hardly recognizable in old photos: the XXL jersey stretches over his round belly, his smile is framed by two chubby cheeks. Summer olympics: fit for the club

29 judoka of the FC iphofen took part in the summer olympics; a so called micro project with the bavarian sport youth (BSJ). These projects are aimed at young people and provide clubs with content and financial support to encourage involvement in sports, says ulrike weiglein from FC iphofen. "I’m somebody, I can do something – and if I work hard at it, I’ll achieve something," is the BSJ’s motto. For young people, the challenge opens up a chance to develop ideas and implement them. Dominice and nicola weiglein organized the summer olympics of the judo department of FC iphofen. Hilar burkhard and mathias schuhmann supported them. This is how the participants mastered a part of the sports badge examinations. A barbecue in the evening. Sportsmen love to end the day with games. After the night in the tent, the event was supposed to continue, but this was not possible because of the rain. So the tent camp had to be broken off. "The community between the rough and the small was strengthened in all cases," the FC reporter notes, mentioning the efforts of oliver zink, arne and tarah muller, and pearl mantlik. The participants received certificates.
